Caro / Cara
The word “cara” is one of Italy’s most common terms of endearment. It means “dear,” and you’ll hear it paired with other words – “cara amico,” which means "dear friend", or even “cara mio” for “my dear” – or used all by itself.
The aim of Cara Wines was to procure the finest wine from the Italian peninsula and distribute it worldwide, with a particular emphasis on the US market. To achieve this objective, we formed a team to search for businesses interested in exporting their exclusive Italian goods. Moreover, Cara Wines has secured deals to import a variety of exceptional specialty food products, including tomato sauce, mineral water, cheese, coffee, and Panatone, which are rarely found in the US market.
Vigneto / Vineyard
[ vi·gné·to ] noun
The word “vigneto” is the Italian word for “vineyard”—an area which is planted with grape vines. It derives from the Latin word “vinetum,” which in turn comes from “vinum,” the Latin word for wine.
For over a century, our family has exported the most exceptional Estate wines from Tuscany. Though we have undergone changes and advancements over the years, our work philosophy has remained constant - "The vineyard is where the wine quality originates." As we step into a new century, our goal and ambition are identical to what they have always been - to produce unforgettable wines.
